2025 was a big year at Sunset Reach. The community continued to grow, new neighbors moved in, and long-awaited amenities became a reality. With steady home sales and visible progress throughout the neighborhood, Sunset Reach took meaningful steps forward this past year.

In 2025, 39 single-family homes and homesites were sold, along with 8 townhomes. Those sales translated into real momentum, with 34 families now calling Sunset Reach home. Residents moved in from across the region, across North Carolina, and even from as far away as California, all drawn by the riverfront setting and the community taking shape.

This year also marked major milestones throughout the neighborhood. The marina, river kayak launch, and lakeside gazebo were all completed, adding everyday access to the water and shared gathering spaces. The basketball and pickleball courts are now open, and new furniture at the river deck and lake gazebo has helped turn these areas into places residents actively use and enjoy. Two new builders were also welcomed, Herrington Homes and Bridgewater, expanding the range of homes available within the community.

Looking ahead to 2026, the momentum continues. Eight spec homes are expected to be available for move-in this spring and summer, offering new opportunities to join the community. Plans are also underway for the pool and clubhouse, which will further enhance life at Sunset Reach and bring neighbors together in new ways.

With a strong year behind it and even more ahead, Sunset Reach is well positioned for continued growth in 2026.
